Hot Towel Face Shave
A standalone straight-edge face shave with hot lather and hot towels. Closer than any razor in your medicine cabinet.
About
Hot Towel Face Shave
There’s a reason men keep coming back for hot towel shaves long after disposable razors got cheap. A real shave isn’t about removing hair. It’s about how the chair feels, how the lather hits, how the hot towel reads on your face when you tilt your head back. It’s a ritual. We’re glad to provide it.

What to Expect
Recline. Hot towel on your face for 90 seconds. Pre-shave oil worked in. Hot lather brushed on. Straight razor passes (we go with the grain first, then across, then against if your skin can handle it). Hot towel between passes. Cold towel at the end. Aftershave balm. You sit up feeling 10 years younger.
Who It’s Right For
Saturday-morning ritualists. Pre-event grooming (wedding day, photo day, anniversary). Anyone who’s never had a real shave and is curious why his grandfather went to a barber for one every week. Also: the perfect gift card if you can’t think of one.
Pair It With
Add a Beard Trim if you’re keeping facial hair somewhere. The Shiner is this service + a Head Shave together.
Frequently Asked
Will I get razor burn?
Not from us. Razor burn comes from bad technique and bad timing. We use hot lather to soften the hair, hot towels between passes, and we adjust pressure to your skin. Almost no one reports burn after a professional shave.
Is this safe for sensitive skin?
Yes, with the caveat that your stylist will go lighter and may not go fully against the grain on your first appointment. Tell them you’re sensitive — they’ll adjust.
How long does the smoothness last?
Most guys get 24-48 hours of smooth skin out of a hot towel shave. A cartridge razor at home gives you about 12.
